200+ Blanket Donation
As temperatures drop and the winter chill sets in, local charity organization Together We Bloom has stepped up to provide comfort and warmth to those most vulnerable. The group recently launched a blanket drive, distributing hundreds of cozy blankets to homeless shelters, low-income families, and individuals in need across the community.

The initiative, aptly named "Warm Hearts, Warm Homes," has garnered widespread support from residents and local businesses. Together We Bloom delivered blankets to key locations, including Golden Age Village, KCCA Krugersdorp, and Tower of Life.
“This is more than just about keeping people warm,” said Together We Bloom founder, Stefan Zeelie. “It’s about showing our community that we care and ensuring no one is left behind during this season.”
So far, Together We Bloom has distributed over 200 blankets to Golden Age Village, KCCA Krugersdorp, and Tower of Life, providing much-needed relief to hundreds of individuals. But the group isn’t stopping there. Plans are already in motion to expand the program in 2025.
